Stop Taking Your Eyes For Marathon

Alright, most of us have to admit that we usually spend a great deal of time online without even taking any short break in between – it is like taking our precious pair of eyes out for a marathon! While this blog is designed to educate and share ideas on earning money online, no amount of money can be used to buy back our precious clear sight. Thus, I am sharing this program – Eyecare Reminder.

It is a system tray program helps reduce computer eye strain by reminding the user to take a break. The user is reminded every 10 minutes to focus on a distance object and every 20 minutes to get up and stretch. The reminder intervals can be adjusted from 1 to 60 minutes.

The system tray icon menu gives easy control of the program, including whether or not to launch the program automatically at startup. Clicking the icon pause/unpause the reminders for when you are away.

Do give it a try, it is virus and spyware free. After installing, if you don't like it, you can uninstall it anytime without much effort.

Words of Wisdom 1: Want To Become Rich ? Do Things Differently.

People in this world are just crazy and insane - yes, literally crazy and insane. Want to know the reason why? This is because most of the people try doing the same thing to get different result, how much more crazier can that be? All of us know that in order to boil the water, we have to heat it up. Alright, but how about turning water into ice? I am sure all of you know that you need to freeze the water.

Now, think back, most of us want to change for the better; to have higher income get out of our current wealth state, get a promotion or score better for our exams in school - whatever it is. Yet, most of us fail to follow this simple logic : we must do something different to have a different result. We stick to the things we do everyday - our routines, schedules etc. and hope to get rich one day. Let me ask you again, how can you? I can safely predict the answer for you - you won't be able to do it.

If you want to be different, you have to do things differently. Let me emphasis it again; if you want different result, you have to change your methods of doing things. It is as simple as that to get better wealth, career, results and whatever you wish for.

I am not talking about big drastic changes, I am talking about small little changes in our daily life which can make a difference to the result. Having headache over credit bills from bank? Switch to a debit card instead. Computer crushing? Get a new OS or a new computer. Want to become wealthier? Try getting new source of income, like PTC programs etc.

What I am driving at is that in order to get out of the current state, you have to do do things that are different from what you have been doing these past few years. It is by changing the method, then you will change the result.

Now, we do know that we need to do things differently to get different result, don't we ?

Getting Internet Traffic 3 : Things To Avoid Doing

By this time if you have read through my archive, you should be getting a respectable income regularly by now. As your income is growing, I understand that some of you have the tendency try out certain ways or tactics which you think can increase your web-site's internet traffic. However, do note that there are certain things which you definitely want to avoid doing, as it can potentially result you in being banned from Google (being banned from Google will mean your website address, or URL, will not appear in the search result - your website being deleted from Google database). Thus, I will list down some of the common mistakes people do online to increase their traffic.
  1. The Invisible Words
    • If you have read my previous post, Getting Internet Traffic 2 : Increase Your Google's PageRank, you should know that by having more relevant keywords on your site, the higher your Google's PageRank will be when someone Google for the relevant keywords at the search engine. Now, how about making a chunk of relevant keywords somewhere at the site and make them invisible by setting their color the same as the background? For example, this sentence is made invisible by making them the same color as the background ( <- highlight this sentence to make it visible). Won't it be great ?
    • But hold on, Google's bot is smart enough to detect this kind of trick and the end result is not a higher Google PageRank, but a site banned. So, don't every try this.

  2. Keyword Stuffing
    • Another tick you might thought of could be making a nonsense paragraph fulfilled with repetitive keywords and place it somewhere on your site where visitors will not be bothered by it. For example, if your site specialized in selling photo, you might have the tendency to construct this kind of sentence - this photo is a good photo as this photo is a photo showing a photo of photo.
    • Now, again, Google's bot will detect this kind of keywords stuffing sentence and penalize your website for it.

  3. Doorway Pages
    • Creating another alternative site to direct the audience to your main site is against the rule set by the various search engines' bot as well. Doorway pages are defined as pages designed for a specific keywords or phrase; pages that don't have anyone pointing to them but only points to your main site's homepage.
    • For example, if your website is selling shoes, you created another website that focused on selling shoe lace. Thus, you make it highly relevant to anyone searching for shoelace in Google. But in there, it is just links that take the visitors to your main site. This is a form of doorway pages - just another door to your main site.
    • If you really need to create another website that is complement to your main website, but not serve as doorway pages, try adding other links on the website other than your main website link.

  4. Having Too Many Offsite Links
    • Having too many links on your site that link to other sites outside of your domain will trigger a alarm in the various search engines' bot. The search engines' bot will think of your site as a link farm (a link farm website is a useless website designed to include as many link on it as possible that links to other website.)
    • So, try limiting your website links that point to offsite (website outside of your domain. For example, for this blog, anything that starts with http://deltaswat.blogspot.com is considered in the same domain.)
5. Duplicated Contents Somewhere Else
    • Applying the term 'divide and conquer' into website making? Better don't. Search engine will penalize any sites that has almost over 90% similar content. Well, it is a good trick to put up as many sites as possible that serve the same purpose, be it selling a shoe or sharing of information. However, a better alternative is to change the layout, content and pictures of the other site, so that it won't trigger the alarm in the search engine bots.
Alright folks, I hope these tips have helped you become more aware of how the various search engines' bot penalize or delete websites from their database. Stick to these to avoid facing the same fate!

Getting Internet Traffic 2 : Increasing Your Google PageRank

If you have read follow the steps mentioned in my previous post 'Getting Internet Traffic 1 : Submitting Your URL', your site should be up in the search engine database by now; if not, you have to give it a couple of days more.

Now, after submitting your web-site's address, you might be wondering "How can I let my web-site's address appear in the first few results of the search?" Well, it is definitely something you want to think about; think about it, how often will you look at the results beyond the second pages of the Google search result?

Thus, you definitely want to get your web-site to appear in the first page, or even in the first few search results. You will need to increase your GooglePage Rank (Read Getting Internet Traffic 2: How Google Works?) and here is how you do it:
  1. Submitting Your Site to Search Engines & Directories
    • Check my previous post 'Getting Internet Traffic 1 : Submitting Your URL'
  2. Increase Backlinks
    • To achieve a higher Google PageRank, you need to have more links linking to you (know as backlink). For example, A and B are both website talking about "How to kick a ball". However, there are 50 other websites which has link that links to website A (known as backlink) while website B has 25 backlinks to it, a user searching for "How to kick a ball" in the Google search engine will have website A appearing at the top and website B will be appear at the bottom of the search result.
    • The reason is simple, Google assume that when your website receive more backlink from other websites, it is significantly more important, since more websites are referring, quoting or mentioning your website.
    • What are the ways to increase backlinks? Continue reading.
  3. Active Online Participation
    • Participate actively in forum, Yahoo! Answer and other form of activities which has a lot of people visiting. For example, you can try visiting forum which has similar topics to your blog. If your blog is about kicking soccer ball, then you can hunt for forum with similar topic and start to post opinions, answer questions or even ask questions in the forum.
    • The trick here is, put your website URL below your signature when you are signing off your message. For example:
Best Regards,
Deltaswat
Earn Money Online : http://deltaswat.blogspot.com/
    • In this way, people reading your post will know about your website and they might click on the link provided if you make good post in the forum. Furthermore, you are actually creating backlinks for your website, as now it has backlinks coming from the forum you participate at. Amazing isn't it? You are killing two birds with one stone.
    • Start now by participating in forums which has similar topics to your website!
4. More Revelant Keywords
    • Website which has more relevant keywords will appear higher in the search result. Back to the example on website A and B - if both website A and B as the same number of backlinks, but website A has more frequent of keywords such as "How to Kick A Ball", then website A will have a higher Goggle PageRank.
    • Again, Google assume that a more relevant website will have more keywords repeated in the website.
    • However, do not repeat the keywords too frequently, as Goggle will delete your site from it's database your site appear suspicious (by having too many keywords repeated).

Earn While Surfing 2 : Get Paid As Long As You Are Online

Today I come across a program called Cash Fiesta. It is basically a program which install a toolbar at the very top of your window screen (you can set it to appear at the bottom too). How it generate income is by flashing advertisements inside the Bar. Below is a screenshot of what happen when you install the toolbar.

Screen-shot of CashFiesta's Bar

Luckily, there is no pop-up, so you can just ignore the top corner and concentrate on doing your usual stuff, like clicking bux.to advertisements. This 'Bar' at the top of the screen generate points every 6 seconds, and you can use the point to cashout for money as shown below:

Cash Fiesta Payout System

For Cash Fiesta, I must admit that at first, it is very irritating, especially if you have a small computer screen. With that 'Bar' installed, it cramp up your working space. However, one good thing about it is that you can turn it off or minimize as and when you want it too. So if you got something important to do that requires a large workspace, then you can temporally close it.

Here is a video I made for Cash Fiesta:

Getting Internet Traffic 1 : Submitting Your URL

Have you tried searching for your own site/blog using the various search engine such as Google, MSN Live, Yahoo etc. and found that some of the search engine didn't even have your site URL (Uniform Resource Locator,a text-based address used to identify specific resources on the Internet, such as web pages. - or in short, your website address) in the search result? Well, this is because your site's URL is not even in their database!

For any website to survive, it must have internet traffic. Internet traffic is a term used to describe how much visitors a site received daily. There are a lot of advantageous of having a high internet traffic. With more visitors, the chances of them clicking on the Adsense advertisements will be higher, which means you will get more money! In addition, Pay Per Post will be paying you more for each post you make about the advertisers, as you command high internet traffic. In addition, you can get more referrals for the various Paid-To-Click (PTC) or Paid-To-Do (PTD)

But before all these, you will have to make sure that the various major search engines out there has your website address in their database. If someone search for your site at search engine and no result appear, your site doesn't exits. Basically, each search engine will have it's own bot and it will crawl through the internet to update the website it's database and at the same time identify new websites so as to include them into it. However, it might take a long time before they even crawl through your site. To facilitate the process, you can take the first step by submitting your site's URL to them for them to crawl.

Below is a list of websites I compounded for your convenience, where you can submit your site's URL to the various search engines database and website directory - it is very easy and most importantly, it is absolutely free. All you need is to key in your site's URL (for example, this blog URL is http://deltaswat.blogspot.com) and your email address (some site requires you to verify your email address to avoid bots from clogging up their services).
  1. Submit Express
  2. Google's Add URL
  3. Yahoo's Site Explorer
  4. Scrub The Web
  5. Official Search
  6. Infotiger
  7. Free Submit Website URL
  8. Aesop
  9. Websquash
  10. Alexa
  11. Exact Seek
    • Create a free account before submitting your URL.
  12. @Submit
    • Instantly submit your URL to six different search engines. (Remember to deselect those search engine you have already submitted before committing a multi-submission, it will result you in being banned from the respective search engine!)
Some websites serve as a website directory, where they list down all the website and group them according to the relevant categories (foe example, this blog could be under blog > money & finance). Do take some time to add your site URL to these directories too. It can increase your website backlink (I will explain this term on my next post, stay tune).
  1. Add URL
  2. Add Site Link
  3. URL Web Directory
    • Search for the relevant categories first before clicking on 'Submit URL' on the right of the page.
  4. Open Directory Project
    • Search for the relevant categories first before clicking on 'Submit URL' on the right of the page.
  5. TWB Directory
    • Search for the relevant categories first before submitting your URL.
  6. PooZL

  7. iWebTool
    • Register a free account before submitting
  8. Hitalyzer (Submit site - web site promotion )
    • Options to choose whether your URL will appear worldwide or only at selected country
I spend an entire day hunting down all these free website. Hope you will find it useful and have more traffic to your site and earn more money from it!

You can earn money just by making new post at your blog, sounds too good to be true? Well, with programs such as Pay Per Post & Social Spark, it is definitely true. It works by having advertisers posting their advertisement on the website such as Pay Per Post, and they require bloggers to write review on their newly launch product. The advertisers could offer money from at least US$5 to US$20 and above. Take a look at the following screen-shot from my account's homepage (click on it to enlarge it):

Picture 1: Screen-shot of Pay Per Post Home Page

Basically, you can see offers by advertisers and a quoted amount of money given to you if you fulfill their tasks. Simple isn't it? However, your blog need to be at least 30 days old with at least 10 posts before they will approve your blog (you need to get your blog approved before you can accept offers from the advertisers) and some of the better-paying advertisers require your blog to have certain amount of Internet Traffic and Google PageRank before you can take their offer.

So start today, register a account through the "Pay Per Post" banner on the left and start earning real money online. For tips on how to improve your Google PageRank and getting for internet traffic, bookmark this site and check back regularly, it will be up soon.

Paid-To-Click (PTC) 2: More Recommended PTC Programs

Still remember the PTC pyramid I drawn to illustrate the potential of Paid-To-Click (PTC) programs ? Well, truthfully, I was intrigued by the online money-making opportunities created by the PTC program, Bux.to. Thus I decided to explore the internet for some other good PTC programs (good reputation, high pay-rate and great promises) that can help generate passive income, in addition to the already mentioned Bux.to. During my quest, I found several other good PTC programs. So I am sharing them here :

Do click on the underlined link and join the PTC websites, it can greatly increase your income overtime.

Monetizing Website 1 : Turning Your Blog/Website Into Money Making Tool

It has come to my attention that another great way to profit from the technology boom is to monetize your website, whether you have a personal website or a blog. The concept is somewhat similar to that of TV advertisements. Basically, you sign up with a particular advertisement program and when every time visitors come to your site, or when they clicked on the displayed advertisements, you get paid. Sounds great isn't it?

After some research, I understand that there are basically two types of advertisements you can host at your site : intrusive and non-intrusive.

Intrusive advertisements are active, meaning the advertisement will grab the visitor attention even if they want to see it. For example, PopupTraffic will pop up a window (pop-up advertisement) every time when a visitor click on something at a site (this blog is hosting PopupTraffic as well, try clicking any link and a window will pop-up, and I get paid). Then, the visitor will have to close the advertisement that pops-up manually, thus grabbing the audience attention.

Non-intrusive advertisements are those advertisements you regularly see on the internet - they are passive. They do not forcefully grab your attention or do anything, except for displaying advertisement at the background - usually some relevant links or images related to the site. One famous program for non-intrusive advertisement will be AdSense. For example, a site selling Tattoo with Adsense advertisement as part of its layout will have tattoo-related advertisements passively displayed in the designated area. But the problem with this type of advertisement is that the visitor must click on the displayed advertisements for you to earn money. Even if you got a million visitor but none of them clicked on the displayed advertisements on your site, your income will still be a flat zero.

Make good use of these two types of advertisement, balance them well, so on one hand you can generate enough income while on the other hand you do not turn your visitors off by flooding their computer's screen with advertisements.

Paid-To-Do (PTD) 1 : Introducing PTD Programs

In addition to the already described PTC concepts in previous post, there are other website which has almost similar, but quite different concepts as that of PTC. Well, basically, instead of viewing advertisements to get paid, you need to complete a specific task mentioned in the website. I will call this concept as Paid-To-Do (PTD).

Those tasks could include : doing a short survey, signing up for a free-trial at a particular site etc. After you finish the task, you will need to give the administrator of the website some time to verify the task you have completed and money will be credited into your account.

The advantage of such PTD program is that the pay-out is a lot higher. Instead of offering just a few cents, PTD sometimes offer as high as $75 for some task. Well, the disadvantage is that you will need to spend more time doing the required task. In addition, some of the tasks require Credit Card information to sign up for free trial, and you will to remember to cancel the trial account after the money has been credited into you account to maximize the profit. Do join these programs to maximize your online money earning opportunities.

These websites feature referral programs as well. You will be paid a certain percentage of money from each referral under you. So, the more referrals you have under you, the higher your income will be.

Paid-To-Click (PTC) 1: PTC The Next Big Thing

I come across PTC programs today and was amazed at their online business concept. Basically, it is about you creating a absolutely free account on their website. After which, you can start to surf advertisements on their website and this is the genius behind it - they pay you every time you click on one of their listed advertisements.

All you need is to wait for a 30-60 seconds for each advertisement, depending on the website, and money ranging from USD$0.0125 to USD$0.013 will be credited to you account. There will be approximately 15-20 advertisements daily for you to click. After you have accumulated USD$10, they will credit the money into Alertpay (a Paypal alternative, which is a free online payments tool which you can sign up) and you can transfer the money from Alertpay to your personal bank account.

But hey, wait a minute, if I am just clicking 15 advertisements daily for USD$0.0125, I will just be earning USD$5.625 monthly? It will be peanut pay.

This is where the referral program comes in handy. Every time you referred someone to join the PTC program, you will enjoy what they are earning. What does it means? Simply put, every time someone you referred join under your name, and when they click a advertisement, both the person you referred and you will receive money. Putting this in graphical format, it will look like this:
Amazing isn't it ? Just by referring 30 members under you and your income got a big boost. What's more, if the person who referred you is a premium member, then each click of yours on the advertisements will worth slightly more.

After considering all these, I decided to try this program out and pay extra to become a premium members (only upgrading to premium members need to pay, being a normal member is free). I will strongly recommend you to give such PTC program a try as well, you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Some of the better PTC programs I found online are listed below, while I will update my current income from PTC on the left-hand column of this blog.

Click on the link below to sign-up under me and your click will be worth as much as a premium member.

After signing up, make sure you try to get as many referrals under you as possible so you can increase your earning dramatically.
